Lynn has over 36 years experience coding and over 18 years of teaching, specializing in the areas of general and vascular surgery in physician practices. Currently, Lynn codes for HCA Hospitals nationwide and she teaches the PMCC curriculum of the AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders).

Her hands-on-coding experience allows her the knowledge and understanding that is needed for educating others in this field. Since 2003, Lynn has provided coding consulting work through her company, Mid-Atlantic Coding, LLC. She is currently retained by surgical practice clients across the country and is a frequent speaker at coding events in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Lynn is accredited as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). She has also obtained her Certified Professional Coding Instructor Certification (CPC-I), Obstetrics & Gynecology (COBGC). and Lynn has also obtained a certification as a CGSC (Certified General Surgery Coder) In addition, she obtained her Urology (CUC) by the AAPC.

In her spare time, Lynn enjoys spending time with her husband of 34 years, and her two sons. Her boys are coders as well, following in her footsteps.
